- Status: Scheduled for correction in upcoming design system update
- ARIA-labelledby attribute on generic role
- Issue: The aria-labelledby attribute is not allowed on elements with generic role, affecting reCAPTCHA implementation
- Impact: May cause validation errors and confusion for assistive technology users
- WCAG reference: 4.1.1 Parsing, 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value
- Third-party limitation: This issue originates from the reCAPTCHA implementation by Google and cannot be directly modified by GEP
- Workaround: The form remains functional, but users experiencing issues can contact us directly using alternative contact methods
- Status: Monitoring for updates from Google reCAPTCHA service
- Duplicate headings for visually Hidden Menu Titles
- Issue: Multiple heading elements contain identical text for visually hidden menu titles, creating confusion in navigation structure
- Impact: Screen reader users may have difficulty distinguishing between different sections when using heading navigation
- WCAG reference: 2.4.6 Headings and Labels, 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value
- Workaround: Users can navigate using other methods such as landmarks or skip links
- Status: Under review for navigation restructuring to ensure unique heading text
- Title attribute on image elements
- Issue: Some image elements have title attributes that may interfere with screen reader functionality
- Impact: Screen reader users may receive redundant or confusing information when encountering images

- Workaround: Alternative text is provided for most images to convey essential information
- Status: Reviewing and removing unnecessary title attributes
